Monroe Lake Wildlife Area

See the best of Ohio’s fall foliage on this scenic, rural route through the Monroe Lake Wildlife Area. Simply jump on Highway 26 in Woodsfield and follow it to Marietta to view the full array of autumn colors, and possibly even spot some wildlife. Foxes, beavers and wild turkeys are all known to live within the 1,333-acre preserve.
Michigan Gold Coast
Total Drive Distance: 79 miles
Starting in Traverse City, take Highway 22 along the scenic Michigan Gold Coast to enjoy the picturesque coastal towns surrounded by bright maple and oak trees. End your journey at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore where you can climb the dunes to get a better view of the colorful landscape.
Kentucky Horse Country

Fall is one of the best times to take a tour through Kentucky Horse Country thanks to the gorgeous foliage. Start at Thoroughbred Park in Lexington and drive to Old Friends Farm enjoying The Red Mile, Versailles Road, Keenland, Old Frankfort Pike and Kentucky Horse Park along the way.
Blue Ridge Parkway

Drive from Roanoke, Virginia to Cherokee, North Carolina along the Blue Ridge Parkway for everything from stunning vistas overlooking miles and miles of fall foliage to pristine lakes reflecting hues of red, yellow and orange.

Dive deep into the rural Ozarks and view some of the most jaw-dropping fall leaves as you drive along Arkansas Highway 23, also known as the Pig Trail Scenic Byway. Start in Ozark, Arkansas and stay on Highway 23 until you reach the Missouri border. Then, take Highway 86 through Dogwood Canyon Park until you hit Branson.
